So many people ask me how to tell if a Forker is a boy or a girl.  I tell them that you can usually tell by what they are wearing; however in the case of many Little Forkers, you cannot tell by what they have on or they may not have anything on at all.  So, I decided that it was time to talk about the birds and the bees or in this case set the nuts and bolts straight.
Figure 1
The process  used to determine the the gender of a fork is called "Popping a Fork" and is very similar to the process of "Popping a Snake or Reptile."  First, it is important to start with a naked Forker.  (See Figure 1)
Next, place your thumb and forefinger along the sides of the fork (See Figure 2) and apply slowly increasing pressure along the sides of the fork.
Figure 2
When you have reached enough pressure, a nut or a bolt will appear.  The girls have nuts  and the boys are screwed.  That's the Forkin' nuts and bolts of it!
